Privacy Policy

The short version
Parking Party uses your location once, when you ask it to, to work out which city you're in and show that city's parking app. We don't have accounts, we don't store your location, we don't track you, and we don't show ads or sell data.
Location
When you open the website or the app, it asks for your device's location. If you allow it:
- In the iPhone and Android app, your phone first turns the location into a city name on the device. The app then sends only the city, state, county and country to our server.
- On the website, or when the phone can't name the city, your approximate coordinates are sent to our server, which asks Mapbox to name the city. Mapbox receives the coordinates for that purpose only.
What we don't collect
No name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, payment details or advertising identifiers. Parking Party doesn't take payments: when you tap a parking app or website, you leave Parking Party, and that provider's own privacy policy applies.
Service providers
The website and its server run on Vercel, the list of cities and parking apps is stored with Supabase, and city names come from Mapbox. Like most web services, these providers may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) to run and secure their services.
Children
Parking Party isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect information from them.
